As a freelance San Francisco copywriter, I wrote this ad for a client of a local ad agency in early 2008.
At the time, I didn’t know that this concept’s focal point would be “ripped from the headlines” as nearly every week throughout 2008, the Dow Jones Industrial Averages seems to have a triple digit gain or loss.
I also repurposed the concept of this ad into a two-page direct marketing letter offering the same free Retirement Guide.
