A client in the Midwest. A patient in Alaska. A marketing agency in Southern California. A healthcare copywriter in Northern California.
This is the story of how we all came together to complete a long list of projects for a major facelift and a complete marketing makeover.
The Google #1 company for “healthcare marketing”, Healthcare Success Strategies, asked me (the Google #1 company for “healthcare copywriting”) to write and manage this project. The results are shown below across TV, radio, print, outdoor, sales materials and an extremely dynamic website.
Here’s the first :30 TV spot I wrote for them. This commercial and the radio spots all feature the personable voice stylings of Troy Duran of Speed of Sound Audio Production in St. Louis, a BNI referral.
This is the second :30 TV spot featuring John from Alaska and the four orthopedic surgeries her had performed at OCI.
Here’s :60 “Treating Your Pain” radio spot that integrates with the first TV spot.
Here’s one of the radio commercials in the new campaign: a :60 testimonial/success story also about John, who needed a total shoulder replacement, wanted to get a second opinion, and was referred to this orthopedic clinic in Illinois by his brother who lived nearby.

We created a terrific 24-page brochure that features an overview of their services and the clients’ eight orthopedic clinics. Download Brochure PDF.

Finally, their old site was pretty good. It featured home page rotating visuals, a link to let patients pay their bill online, upcoming events, news, backgrounds for each of the 15 orthopedic surgeons, and general info for the orthopedic units.
After: The new visually dynamic and information-rich 80-page website went live on March 1st. It contains explanations of the eight orthopedic clinics with five-page mini-sites for each, bios of the super specialists, videos, and more. I wrote half of this huge site and managed another writer for the other half.
